Education: BS degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
Experience: A minimum of 3 years related experience is required.
§ Experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
§ Previous experience to include machine control electronics and electrical knowledge at a sufficient level to support the evaluation and troubleshooting and implementation of corrective actions of complex electrical controls, on both micro-processor and relay designs, also includes AC/DC motor controls.
§ Must have proven experience in PLC logic and programming with the following PLCs: Allen Bradley, Siemens and GE/Fanuc.
§ Experience with industrial Ethernet; SCADA and HMIis a plus.
§ Must be able to create and read logic and flow diagrams for program design, programming, component networking, simulation and testing, and start-up.
§ This is a day shift position but must be willing to work flexible shift schedules for installations and special projects as needed
Job description and responsibilities:
§ Core responsibilities will be creating and reading logic & flow diagrams using RS Logic, Proficy Machine Software. Using Auto cad for electrical plans.
§ Responsible for testing, simulations and start-ups.
§ Will set up and operate test equipment to evaluate performance of developmental parts, assemblies, or systems under simulated operating conditions and record results.
§ Assemble electrical and electronic systems according to engineering data and knowledge of electrical principles, using hand tools and measuring instruments. Includes designing, building, and installing electrical control panels.
§ Analyze and interpret test information to resolve design-related problems.
§ Assist maintenance team with troubleshooting existing equipment, electrical and electronic failures.
