Salary: 65,000k plus 13-15% bonus plus another bonus of 4-7%, profit sharing, 20% Fee.
Education: BS Degree in Marketing or a related discipline required.
Experience: Minimum of 7 years experience in Marketing, including 5 years within a food manufacturing environment required. Frozen food processing background preferred.
Skills: Data analysis ability and technical problem solving experience required. Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills required with an emphasis on “hands-on” management style.
Position Summary: Reporting directly to the Director, Marketing, and this position will be responsible for the development and growth of assigned key food service accounts and management of the internal distributor relationship, as well as improvement and maintenance of key marketing activities such as market pricing, forecasting, website and partnering with R&D on new products development.
Sales Activities: Responsible for internal management of the Companies relationship along with responsibility for assigned company customer accounts.
Forecast Activities: Ensures that there are up-to-date sales forecasts maintained the for Industrial and Foodservice product lines.
R&D Activities: Plays key role in coordinating activities between R&D and sales. Manages sales responsibilities within the New Product Request (NPR) process. Advises R&D of new trend products and processes that should be undertaken for sales demonstration samples.
Marketing Management Activities: Maintenance and ongoing analysis of market and product pricing. Maintains ongoing review of potential new purchased products. Responsible for the development and maintenance of the CRM system. Responsible for website content and maintenance along with coordination with website service providers. Develops and maintains responsibility for the Marketing budget. Develops and tracks effectiveness of external marketing related communications. Conducts limited market research on competitive companies and products. Advises and participates in product allocations as needed.
