SUMMARY
Leads the development and implementation of large-scale process development initiatives across the Companies that improves product quality, creates product differentiation, and reduces costs or gains capacity

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
§ Identifies and defines process development projects that meet one or more of the areas of product quality, product differentiation, cost savings and freeing capacity.
§ Prepares a development plan based on sound science, experimental design, reasonable and sound testing protocol that answers the primary objective(s) of the project.
§ Manages all aspects of the development process from initial concept proposal through implementation including all plans, updates, and reports.
§ Works with cross-functional team members for input and alignment; engages team members in the planning and execution of projects.
§ Ensures projects are progressing on schedule and within proposed budget.
§ Ensures that all process developments meet government regulations and internal guidelines.
§ Manages professional and intern project team members; provides direction and feedback on projects and performance along with training opportunities and career guidance.
§ Participates in department and cross-functional planning sessions and updates across the organization.
§ Must maintain satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.
