Leadership Development – Identify new, mid and senior needs. Facilitate with mgt new jobs assignments, projects and training needed to develop leadership skills and overall professional competencies
Lead the assessment process of future Leaders driving off companies leadership competencies
With County HR provide Senior and Mid Management Coaching and also provide/commit external resources to improve leadership effectiveness
Work with County HR and other B U HR teams on sourcing, assessing and selecting college management trainees. Ensure on boarding and feedback processes are established to gage success. People resources are the company not SVI.
Performance Management t
Facilate companies performance base culture with BU senior leadership
Ensure all SVI salaried colleagues have business, personal goals and personal development goals aligned to the growth/profit strategy
Facilitate midyear review process and year end process for and other salaried colleagues
Assist management with aligning goals to business needs
Align merit and bonus programs to year end performance reviews. LTIP aligned as well for those who are eligible
Work with senior leaders at year end to calibrate ratings within SVI and country HR for all B Us
Compensation
Assist Company Country HR with defining a new grade/ broad band system for USA
Maintain current job descriptions for all SVI salaried colleagues
Assist in wage surveys for plant hourly and salaried as needed to support internal equity decisions
Assist Country HR with yearend merit and bonus roll up process for and local management
Ensure yearly that colleagues know their short term incentive targets and process to achieve results
Communication/Environment
Work with country senior management and SVI leadership to improve employee communication and organizational environment.
Coach and work to develop all levels of leadership with the SVI and Functional Groups located in CA
Assist the company America HR Team with effective communication platforms to build one common culture and increase awareness of company vision, values and direction.
Through well organized thought, reinforce and communicate the company success, culture and values to our SVI business unit and Fresno Functional Groups
Build effective relationships with key senior leaders within company
Organizational Effectiveness
With senior leaders determine optimal org design, processes and resources to enable organization to meet current and future goals
Support employee engagement assessments and work with local leaders to improve deficient scores/gaps
Employee/Labor Relations
Assist County Mgt HR with collective bargaining process
Coach and develop HR and Line Mgt on effective employee problem solving skills
Assess current handbooks and polices to state, federal and company requirements
Ensure AAP/EEO reports are completed and acted upon per state and federal statue
Improve employee communication concerning the company direction and company’s culture and values.
Building HR Capability
Along with site leaders assess and develop site HR Managers
Move to new and less complex work processes using technology and software to free up time and labor of HR team
Improve plant hourly employee on boarding, development and polices to improve operational performance
Build a bench of successful HR colleagues that can move to other sites within the current structure or through acquisition
