This position is responsible for managing process optimization and product development projects as it affects the products manufactured at the Hanford and companies facilities.
Essential Functions:
This position is responsible for:
Managing process optimization and product development projects initiated by potential customers, the Sales Department or internal requests for process/ product improvements.
Completion of all necessary customer/audit questionnaires and surveys.Facilitating commercialization of prototypes from kitchen to factory scale.
Facilitating all sample requests.Reviewing and approving recipes, processes and labels used at the Hanford and companies facilities to assure compliance with all regulatory labeling requirements.
Assisting in running heat penetration tests and compiling information required for filing processes with our Process Authority, the State of California and the FDA as required.
Creating and maintaining electronic decks for new or reformulated products.
Assisting in the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures.
Filing and maintaining customer specifications and ensure the specifications are supported by the appropriate documents at the factory floor level (i.e. Hanford and Company.
Ongoing Spec Analysis.Assisting in continuous improvement initiatives that reduce manufacturing costs, improve quality and / or enhance customer service.Coordinating employee training as it relates to the manufacture of new products or processes.
Providing Technical Support to the Factory with respect to new product launches, process modifications or corrective action for quality issues.
Assisting customers with respect to their product or quality improvement initiatives.
Mentoring staff to increase their technical knowledge and potential contribution to the company.
Act as the liaison between the Company and Customer Development Representatives, Regulatory Inspectors and Third Party Auditors.
