Location: Fresno Area, Ca
Responsibilities:
Track and review of Analysis Records
Completion of QC/QA Documentation and Packets for Customers
Review and Tracking of Documentation from Vendors
Assisting with Inventory Management, Lab Analysis, Sampling to Customers
Coordinating with Production Regarding Lot Analysis and Tracking
Assisting with Research and Analysis for QC/QA Department
Assisting with Documentation/Tracking of Pilot Projects
Inspection, disposition, release, etc. of raw materials and/or finished goods
Certificates of Analysis – generate/issue, review against vendor or third party data, file, post results in database, track third party testing, etc.
Product complaint investigation and resolution and accurate completion of related documentation
Raw material or product hold, rework, disposition, etc.
Retention sample maintenance and organization
Respond to basic consumer relations inquiries
Specification development
Requirements:
Minimum of a four-year degree in science, food, agriculture or related science is preferred
HACCP Certified or trained with experience in third party food safety audits and SOP Creation
Excellent analytical skills to analyze and summarize data
Excellent organizational skills
Proficient with computer applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Experience with database software is a plus
Good oral and written communication skills
Good interpersonal skills (will liaise with various internal and external customers)
Strong communication skills (ability to read, write, and speak English fluently) with Spanish as a second language being a plus
Other Requirements:
Experience with Third Party Food Safety Audits - a plus
Familiar with Organic and Kosher Certification Processes
Overtime will be required during the season; employee to be compensated accordingly
