Job description:       

1) Develop and maintain a labor pool to adequately staff all operations.

2) Hands on training and monitoring of labor performance.

3) Minimize equipment damage to harvesters, tractors, or trailers as a result of operations.

4) Develop and maintain relationships and agreements with labor contractors to supplement personnel as needed.

5) Develop and maintain an enthusiastic presence for in the field and the farming community.

6) Participate in human resource and safety training conferences.

7) Implementation and refinement of safety program for field harvest activities.

8) Track wage rates from others doing similar work.

9) Coordinate staffing activities with appropriate colleagues to utilize and keep a trained, motivated labor pool.

10) Assist in the refinement and documentation of processes related to the training of equipment operators and farming colleagues.
