Education: Degree in Food Science /
Technology, Nutrition, Microbiology or Culinary qualifications (preferable)
Experience: 2 Yrs Experience in juice and/or
beverage production, high speed bottling, with batching experience (citrus
experience a plus). Internal auditing experience, QA Environment, Demonstrated skill in leading, coaching, teaching, and
supervising employees, Demonstrated use of risk assessment principles and
decision making, Demonstrated understanding of Microbiology (preferable), HACCP Qualifications
(preferable), Demonstrated organizational skills, Demonstrated time management
skills, Computer literate
Job description: Factory-based quality assurance
shift supervision, Upholds WRF approach to QA. Facilitates quality assurance processes to
produce a high quality product that delivers customer quality requirements
within budget constraints. Ensures Juice compliance to GMP, Quality Systems,
HACCP, CCP Procedures. Responsible for Internal Auditing program in Juice, Oversight
of QA Hold processes on shift to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Ensures that quality and production records
are legible, accurate, complete, maintained. Investigation of customer complaints, Initiate
root cause analysis with team members to identify and implement corrective
actions, Non-conformance corrective and preventative action follow up, Maintenance
of Quality Attribute Sheets and other factory quality specs, Ensure retain samples
are pulled for Juice Production, Coaching of Production personnel in GMP,
adherence to procedures and quality parameters, HACCP and paperwork completion.
Maintenance of the swabbing and sampling program for the Juice production areas,
Responsible for monitoring plant sanitation levels for the Juice production
area, Supports Quality Systems Supervisor in maintaining simple, effective and
factory friendly records
